Desi Pakwan, an authentic Indian Hakka cuisine restaurant, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to assist in overseeing our daily operations and ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. Job Description:
As a Restaurant Supervisor at Desi Pakwan, you will work closely with the management team to support the smooth functioning of our restaurant. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff schedules, coordinating workflow, and maintaining service standards.
  • Providing guidance and training to restaurant staff, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive work environment.
  • Assisting in the hiring and onboarding process for new team members.
  • Monitoring the dining area to ensure cleanliness, proper set-up, and overall ambiance.
  • Assisting in handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborating with the management team to implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
  • Assisting in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and coordinating with suppliers.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Conducting regular checks to ensure quality control in food taste, presentation, and service.
  • Assisting in maintaining accurate records, such as sales reports, staff attendance, and inventory records.


To be considered for the Restaurant Supervisor position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and customers.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per restaurant needs.
  • Knowledge of Indian cuisine, particularly Indian Hakka cuisine, is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices in a restaurant setting.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals.
  • Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting purposes.
