Job Description:

As a Restaurant Manager at Desi Pakwan, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of service, and leading a team of dedicated staff members. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Training, coaching, and supervising restaurant staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Monitoring and optimizing restaurant performance, including sales, costs, and profitability.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure consistency in food taste, presentation, and service.
  • Developing and implementing effective marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Managing inventory and supplies, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to develop and refine menu offerings.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and implementing innovative ideas to enhance the restaurant’s success.


To be considered for the Restaurant Manager position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar managerial role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Knowledge of Indian cuisine, particularly Indian Hakka cuisine, is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and make sound business decisions.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per restaurant needs.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software and technology is a plus.
